Methylation corresponds to the addition of a methyl group (CH3) to a molecule (protein, DNA…). This chemical reaction is involved in many essential cellular processes, including production of energy but also detoxification, regulation of gene expression, regeneration of cells. Synthesis of hormones, antibodies, neurotransmitters require methylation reactions.
A dysregulation of methylation pathways can have dramatic consequences for the body. A common cause of poor methylation function can be a deficiency in one or more of the essential compounds that control methylation processes.

Energy Cycle + contains a blend of methyl group donors: the most important is MTHF, a biologically active form of folic acid (vitamin B9). Other compounds included are zinc methionine, taurine (a sulfur-containing amino acid derived from methionine and cysteine), as well as trimethylglycine (TMG) and dimethylglycine (DMG). TMG, also known as betaine, contains three methyl groups; after donating one it becomes DMG, a well recognized energy-boosting nutrient.

Active ingredients: 180 capsules, each contains 0.25mg methyltetrahydrofolate, 50mg zinc methionine, 125mg dimethylglycine, 200mg trimethylglycine, 250mg taurine.

Suggested use: 3 capsules in the morning or as directed by your physician. Consider taking this product in combination with vitamin B12.
